Joel Miles


Joel joined the Charles Simeon Trust as Director of Training in September of 2011. A native of Ontario, Joel grew up in a Christian home. He earned a bachelor's degree from the Moody Bible Institute where he also met his wife, Anna. In addition to working with the Charles Simeon Trust, Joel is presently finishing an MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. While at Moody, Joel began attending Holy Trinity Church's downtown congregation and began to get involved with the ministry there. He began in the pastoral internship program in 2009. He presently serves the downtown congregation as a small group leader and university ministry leader through this program. In 2009-2010, Joel also completed the inaugural year of the Simeon Course on Biblical Exposition as a group leader. Joel is primarily responsible for coordinating the Simeon Course on Biblical Exposition, including maintaining our relationships with all of the past and present students and also with Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
