About the Charles Simeon Trust
It is our conviction that the health of the Church depends on the proclamation of God’s Word.

The spiritual health of the Church is derived from the preaching of the Scriptures through the power of the Holy Spirit by preachers and teachers who really believes the Bible to be the words of God. And while millions of men and women may have learned to subsist on something else for their spiritual sustenance, they are, in reality, hungry for God’s Word.

The Board of Directors that governs the Charles Simeon Trust and the pastors and staff charged with carrying out their directives believe that we can restore the Bible to its rightful place in the church. Each of these initiatives aims to do just that -- to train and equip the next generation of pastors, the very men who are called to deliver God’s word to the Church. For precisely this reason, each of our initiatives shares a single underlying goal: to increase the preacher’s confidence in the Word.

When we began the Charles Simeon Trust, one of our first endeavors was to develop Workshops on Biblical Exposition. The three-day conferences are now held in more than a dozen locations worldwide. The workshops help pastors to learn methods of expository preaching, hear model sermons and gather in small groups with the aim of sharpening each other’s teaching. Our other foundational initiative was the Simeon Model -- a training scheme that combines the best of seminaries with a real church environment under the guidance of established pastors.

But growing gospel churches around the world and broadening our reach right here in the U.S. requires a different kind of effort, an exponential effort. Our work is expanding to include developing a more intensive training course, establishing an interactive research environment for pastors and academics, producing and distributing resources for pastors and aggressively expanding each initiative around the world.

The gospel opportunities before us are immense.
